HOMECan you believe it? Our children have less than nine weeks left of high school !!! That means we, the senior parents, have a lot to do in a short period of time.
We are planning the Senior Picnic for Monday, May 19th on the school campus. The seniors will be here early that morning to practice for Honors Night and then will enjoy their Picnic beginning at 11 a.m. That evening, they will return for the 2008 Senior Honors Night Program.
The parents of the seniors are invited to attend the Senior Picnic. Bring your lawn chairs, tents, etc. and enjoy an afternoon with your student.
This is a "parent sponsored" activity, so we need your help. The menu for the picnic includes:
Hamburgers and Hotdogs
with all the trimmings
(lettuce, cheese, pickles, tomatoes, slaw, ketchup, mustard, mayo)
Chips
Dessert
Beverages
With 166 seniors + parents + faculty = We are planning to feed approximately 765 people
As of now, we need donations of the following items:
Hamburgers -- we need 6 cases -- at $43.65 per case -- $$$$ donations would be appreciated
Hotdogs -- we need 9 cases -- at $11.36 per case --- $$$$ donations would be appreciated
Lettuce -- 15 heads
Pickles -- 5 gallons
Ketchup -- 9 gallons
Mayonnaise -- 4 gallons
Sliced Cheese -- (we need enough for 760 burgers -- depending on the size of package bought)
Brownies -- 10 pans
Cookies --- 15 dozen
