Red Velvet Cake-

3 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. cooking oil
1 tsp. vinegar
3 c. cake flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 oz. red food coloring
1 T. cocoa

Directions for Cake:

Beat eggs, add sugar, cooking oil and vinegar. sift flour and soda together. Add flour to mixture. Add milk slowly. Add flavoring, food coloring and cocoa. Place in three greased/ floured cake pans. Bake 25 mins. at 350º F.

Frosting:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 box powdered sugar
1 c. chopped nuts

Blend together cream cheese, butter and powdered sugar. Add vanilla and nuts.
