What is HOSA?

  • A powerful instructional tool that works best when integrated into the Healthcare Science Technology Education (HSTE) curriculum and classroom.
  • Committed to the development of the well rounded student.
  • Tool used to train students far beyond the basic technical skills needed for entry into the healthcare field.
  • An organization that aims to serve the rapidly changing healthcare systems by developing dedicated workers who are people-oriented, highly capable leaders and contributing members to the medical community.
  • A critical asset when considering the acute shortage of qualified workers for the healthcare industry.
