We still have 4 small but very important guy roles that
need to be filled. If you know of any of our un-shy male
students who might be interested, or who may be able to
be coerced (then be really glad they agreed), please
have them see me ASAP. This play won't work at all
without Romeo, and won't work nearly as well without a
Tybalt, a good freshman Usher, and a guy to play Bill.
The latter three parts can be converted to female roles
but aren't nearly as funny if they are.
Sports: The varsity softball team (5-4, 1-1)
defeated Long County in region play by a score of 10-0.
The game ended early in the 5th due to mercy rule.
Anslee Gibson received the win on the mound for the Lady
Herons only giving up 1 hit and pitched the complete
game. Gibson began the game by striking out 8 of the
first 9 batters. Defensively, the Herons played perfect
not having any errors. Offensively, everybody hit or
did something positive. Standouts for the game
offensively include Kayla Bawkin, Kelly Harris, and
Brooke Moody.
